Frequently asked questions

Short answers, no small print.

Getting started

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign up and you get a 30-day trial with everything unlocked and up to 5 screens, no card required. If you don’t upgrade, your account moves to the Free plan automatically at the end of the trial — nothing is charged without you choosing a plan.

What hardware can I use?

Any Android tablet or TV, an Amazon Fire TV stick, a Windows or Linux PC, a Raspberry Pi, or just a browser tab in kiosk mode. Pair a screen with a one-time code from the dashboard — no device fleet software required.

How long does setup take?

Most people have a first screen paired and playing within a few minutes: create an account, open the pairing page on the display, enter the code, and start scheduling.

Pricing & billing

Is there really a free plan?

Yes — Free is £0/month, forever, for 1 screen with 100 MB of storage. No card, no trial countdown on that tier.

How does per-screen pricing work?

Paid plans charge per screen you pair, billed monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is 20% cheaper on every plan — Starter drops from £10 to £8/screen/month, Pro from £18 to £14.40, Enterprise from £25 to £20. The price shown is the whole price — no separate VAT add-on, setup fee, or shipping cost.

What happens when my trial ends?

If you haven’t picked a paid plan, your account moves to Free automatically. You keep your account and your first screen; nothing is deleted and nothing is billed without you choosing to upgrade.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes — cancel from Billing in the dashboard whenever you like. There’s no lock-in contract or minimum term.

How is my payment information stored?

Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your card number.

Content

What can I show on a screen?

Images, video, PDFs, full web pages, and built-in widgets (weather, clock, RSS feed and more), arranged with the canvas designer into single- or multi-zone layouts.

Can different screens show different things?

Yes — playlists and schedules are assigned per screen or per group, so a lobby display and a kitchen menu board can run entirely independent content on entirely independent schedules.

Reliability

Do screens keep playing if the internet drops?

Yes — each player caches its current playlist locally and keeps looping it offline, then resyncs automatically once the connection returns.

How do I know if a screen has gone down?

Screen monitoring (Starter and up) shows live online/offline status and a last-seen time for every paired display.

Can I see what actually played, not just what was scheduled?

Every screen logs its playback from day one, on every plan. Reports (Pro and up) adds a view over that log — a per-day chart, a per-item breakdown, and a CSV export for any screen and date range.

What’s emergency takeover?

Starter and up can push an urgent full-screen message to every display in seconds, overriding whatever’s scheduled — useful for building evacuations, weather warnings, or a CAP-compatible fire-panel alert feed.

Security & data

Do you support single sign-on?

Enterprise includes SSO via Google or Microsoft; two-factor authentication is available on any plan.

Where is my data hosted?

On UK-based infrastructure by default — there’s no region picker to get right and no self-hosting step to run yourself.

Can I bring my team in?

Yes — invite teammates with role-based permissions; Pro and up adds an audit log of who changed what.

Can I get my data out?

Yes — export your playback reports as CSV at any time; there’s no lock-in on your own content or logs.

Allergen menus

What is the allergen menu feature?

A kiosk-style menu board that shows dish and allergen information per Natasha’s Law, so your food menus stay compliant without running a separate system.

Which plan includes it?

It’s an addon available on every plan, including Free, at £10/screen/mo (£8/screen/mo billed yearly) — you only pay for the screens actually running an allergen menu.

Is it free during the trial?

Yes — unlocked on every screen for your full 30-day trial at no extra cost.

Do I need custom development to link my allergen data?

No — enter dishes and allergens in the dashboard and assign them to a kiosk screen; no bespoke integration required.

Still curious? Try it — it’s free.
