1. The cookie we use
NovaScreen uses a single, strictly-necessary cookie: a PHP session cookie used to keep you signed in while you use the dashboard. It is set with the Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax attributes, and it is cleared when you log out.
2. What this cookie is for
The session cookie is strictly necessary to operate the Service — it lets us recognise you as signed in between page requests. Without it, the dashboard cannot function. It does not track you across other websites and carries no advertising or analytics purpose.
3. No analytics or advertising cookies
We do not use third-party analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any other non-essential tracking technology on the Service.
4. Why there's no consent banner
Under UK law, a cookie consent banner is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide a service you've requested — such as analytics or advertising cookies. Because the only cookie we use is strictly necessary (the session cookie described above), no consent banner is shown.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to the Service.
